Tribon

Introduction

Tribon is the world leading integrated design, information and manufacturing system for shipbuilding and offshore industries, present in more then 40 of the 50 most productive and efficient shipbuilders worldwide. Product Information Model (PIM) is a term often used to explain the Tribon technology... The Tribon PIM is the core information base for design, planning, engineering and definitions of materials in a Tribon enabled shipyard... Designers and planners, administrators of materials, manufacturing, people etc. use PIM as their central repository and single source of information...
Since there are too many applications, in this part I will try to concentrate on Outfitting.
